The third annual Myrtle Beach Invitational will be played November 18, 19 and 21 at the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., featuring Davidson (Atlantic 10), East Carolina (American), Indiana State (Missouri Valley), New Mexico State (Western Athletic), Oklahoma (Big 12), Old Dominion (Conference USA), Penn (Ivy) and Utah State (Mountain West).

Myrtle Beach will host the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championship in May 2024 at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The city is one of 450 host site selections announced today by the NCAA. ESPN Events Announces Creation of Myrtle Beach Bowl Beginning in 2020

ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, is adding a new bowl game to its roster beginning in 2020 with the creation of the Myrtle Beach Bowl. The game will feature matchups from three conference partners – Conference USA, Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference. Each conference will participate up to four times between 2020 and 2025.

Myrtle Beach welcomes thousands of athletes annually in sports such as track, baseball, softball and basketball in addition to the visitors who come each summer to vacation and take in our beaches and attractions. While some are repeat visitors, many athletes are first timers to Myrtle Beach. Ranging from California all the way to Massachusetts, these visitors come from all the corners of the country to the Grand Strand for their summer tournaments and vacations.
