The devastation of the tourism industry due to COVID-19 has led to extreme hardship for thousands of Horry County residents. Nonprofits across our community are working to help those in need, but they need our help.
The COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund has been established to provide funding to nonprofits who are providing medical care, food access and financial support to those most impacted by the coronavirus outbreak in coastal South Carolina.
If you give $20 by April 20, you’re actually generating $40 for the fund. If you give $50, you’re actually giving $100.
Support the Local Nonprofits Supporting Our Neighbors in Crisis
With a record number of South Carolinians applying for unemployment benefits amid the pandemic, it's expected that more people will rely on nonprofit services for fresh food and other necessities for the duration of the social distancing period. The COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund helps nonprofits quickly meet that increased demand.
This is a great opportunity for all of us to be the reason why our community comes together to help our most vulnerable neighbors during this pandemic. We are a community with compassion. Please donate today.
