‘We Are The Beach’ Banners Installed At Downtown Myrtle Beach Parking Deck

Additional Enhancements to Parking Facility Include Painting and Pressure Washing

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) today unveiled four new vinyl banners now on display at the Downtown Myrtle Beach Parking Deck located at 9th Ave. North and Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.

Printed and installed by ASL Signs of Surfside Beach, the banners span 60-feet high and showcase the CVB’s branding colors and slogan, “We Are The Beach.”

“The banners are part of The Beach brand’s community rollout that began nearly a year ago and are designed as a colorful welcome message for both residents and visitors visiting Myrtle Beach’s downtown and oceanfront area,” said Karen Riordan, MBACC and CVB President and CEO, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on April 18, 2022, at the parking deck.

The banners were approved by the City of Myrtle Beach in March as part of semi-permanent art installation.

Boroughs & Chapin Co. Inc., which owns and operates the public parking garage, recently completed additional enhancements to garage, including repainting four exterior towers, interior stairwells and elevators, and pressure washing the exterior.
