The colors, message, sounds, and style allude to the rolling waves, warm sand, children playing and fun atmosphere that millions of visitors travel to enjoy each year. Myrtle Beach has been known for years as the classic American family beach vacation destination. This updated brand positioning honors our past while embracing a modern and vibrant approach. We like to think of it as a “Modern Classic.”

Not only will you see The Beach Brand in the upcoming Visit Myrtle Beach campaigns, but throughout the Grand Strand. We want this to be more than just a destination brand, but rather our place brand. Together, we are The Beach.

Visit Myrtle Beach Out Of Home & Print Samples

Our print ads will be playful, unique and eye-catching designs that were inspired by the classic beach signs of the past, but in a modern way. Headlines will describe what life is like at The Beach and why this is 60 miles where they belong. To help establish us as the one and only beach, we always find a way to tie it back to “The Beach” at the end.

We’ll be expanding our use of out-of-home advertising to targeting people on the go and letting them know exactly how far they are from where they belong - The Beach, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

And we haven’t forgotten about our meetings, groups and sports audiences. We take a bold, colorful approach to stand out among a sea of traditional group ads and share why their event or group belongs at the beach.


2020 Annual Report

As we celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW), we would also like to share our 2020 Annual Report which points to Myrtle Beach’s resiliency and ingenuity in the face of unprecedented circumstances. The theme for this year’s NTTW is the Power of Travel, and we have seen that firsthand in Myrtle Beach. We are grateful for our partners and community who worked tirelessly to restart the tourism engine and hold on to all that we love about The Beach.
