You may have seen some promotions asking if you are America’s Best Home Bartender. This is one of the latest collaborations with Cocktail Artist. Cocktail Artist, a line of premium mixes and bar ingredients developed by award-winning mixologists, is in search of America’s Best Home Bartender in a Cocktail Mix Off competition taking place in sunny Myrtle Beach this fall.
Why Myrtle Beach? Myrtle Beach is a popular vacation spot, welcoming 20 million visitors annually to enjoy its 60-miles of beautiful sandy beaches, entertainment, amusements, and more. It’s great for families and young adults alike. Cocktail Artist chose to host the final round of the competition in Myrtle Beach because #EverySipIsAVacation, and what better way to relax than with cocktails, beach, food, and fun all in one spot?
Who can enter? The competition accepts original recipes until 8/31/19 and four finalists will be chosen—one per month. We already have our finalist from May: Marcus Brown from Stockbridge, Georgia! The contest is open to both amateur and professional bartenders…even if you only shake-it-like-you-mean-it when your friends gather, you should enter! We want to see your skills in action.
What will you win? The four finalists will receive $500 plus a trip for two to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in October where they will compete in the final round. The stakes will be high at this event where one of the finalists will be crowned the grand prize winner, receiving $1000 and the opportunity to have their face on one of Cocktail Artist’s mixes or bar ingredients.
How do you enter? Make sure to check out the official competition rules for eligibility, and then create and prepare an original cocktail or mocktail recipe using exact common U.S. household measurements that feature at least one (1) Cocktail Artist mix or bar ingredient from the list below. To find Cocktail Artist at the store nearest you, visit Cocktail-Artist.com/where-to-buy. Take a photograph of your unique and fully prepared recipe, and enter it at Cocktail-Artist.com/mixoff. Make sure to follow the instructions and completely fill out the online entry form. Each entry is vetted by Cocktail Artist’s team and its award-winning mixologists serve as the judges’ panel.
