“Passengers levels at the Myrtle Beach International Airport reached an all-time record high in June,” said Scott Van Moppes, director of airports. “Year-to-date we have welcomed more passengers to the Myrtle Beach, SC than ever before, trending about 14-percent above last year’s record setting levels. In June our airline partners offered nonstop air service from 47-destinations while increasing seat capacity in the majority of existing market pairs. The growth at MYR is being propelled by a healthy airline industry and the popularity of our destination, the Grand Strand.”
