During June 2018, a total of 308,809 passengers passed through the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), an increase of 12.8-percent over June 2017.

At MYR, total passenger traffic in June 2018, which includes enplanements and deplanements, totaled 308,809 compared to 273,729 last year. The number of people arriving on flights, or deplanements, totaled 157,963 compared to 140,598 last year.

“Passengers levels at the Myrtle Beach International Airport reached an all-time record high in June,” said Scott Van Moppes, director of airports. “Year-to-date we have welcomed more passengers to the Myrtle Beach, SC than ever before, trending about 14-percent above last year’s record setting levels. In June our airline partners offered nonstop air service from 47-destinations while increasing seat capacity in the majority of existing market pairs.  The growth at MYR is being propelled by a healthy airline industry and the popularity of our destination, the Grand Strand.”
