Today the Horry County Welcome Back Committee launched GreaterGrandStrandisOpen.com and the Greater Grand Strand Promise. The promise is a commitment by area business leaders, residents and visitors, to do their part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 while supporting the economic recovery of our community.
The new website is a resource for businesses, residents and visitors alike. It houses all business reopening guidelines, current coronavirus information and healthy hygiene practices, and tips for supporting local businesses safely. It also includes a webform for individuals and business owners to confirm their commitment to following best practices for safety.
The Greater Grand Strand Promise is designed to provide clear recognition for the commitment made by businesses, residents and visitors to protect the health, safety and well-being of everyone. The promise includes steps such as wearing a mask, self-screening for signs of illness before reporting to work or visiting a business, maintaining recommended social distancing, frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, and healthy hygiene practices.
Businesses who take the Greater Grand Strand Promise will be provided a window cling and web badge that identifies their commitment to following health and safety guidelines to keep employees and customers safe in their places of business.
Visit GreaterGrandStrandisOpen.com for more information and to take the Greater Grand Strand Promise.
