MBACC Announces New Executive Vice President of Finance
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Randall (Randy) McKeel Jr. as the executive vice president of finance. McKeel will be responsible for leading the financial division of the organization in all day-to-day functions as well as assisting the many facets of the organization with resource planning to meet goals.

Dorian has passed with minimal impacts to the area and like you, we are ready to welcome more people than ever to the Myrtle Beach area. This past weekend, we notified our visitors that Dorian had left the area and that our beaches were in great shape. We also reactivated the “Stretch Your Summer” fall campaign in all markets. Working together, the City of Myrtle Beach, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) have launched a new “Check My Beach” brochure and web page. Both are designed to provide quick access to water quality information and general beach safety tips.
CVB Welcomes Cyndi Mohr to Sales Team
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber and CVB is pleased to welcome a new member of the Group Sales Team. Cynthia (Cyndi) Mohr is a South Carolina native born on the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Cyndi joins the CVB & Chamber with more than 30 years of experience in hotel operations and group sales and conventions, with the primary focus to bring groups to the Myrtle Beach area for meetings and conventions.
