April is World Autism Month, and Visit Myrtle Beach and the communities along the 60 miles of coastline have been committed to creating an autism- and sensory-friendly destination throughout the year since 2016. As a recognized autism-friendly destination, Myrtle Beach continues its increasing efforts to provide a safe, accessible, and welcoming destination for all, including a sensory-friendly pledge and numerous initiatives to promote and foster inclusivity throughout the region.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is joining the U.S. Travel Association to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day on March 30, 2023. The chamber and CVB will use this day to spotlight the value of in-person meetings, including the positive impacts they have on participants and the local economy.

Visit Myrtle Beach announced that the Moveable Feast with Relish episode filmed along the Grand Strand in late 2022 has begun airing on PBS stations with most air dates set for the first weekend in February. It will air on SCETV in South Carolina on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
