What is the Summer Work Travel Program?
- This is a public diplomacy cultural exchange program (J-1 visa) with a work component.
- Participants are international university students on the J-1 visa who live and work in seasonal communities during summer visitation.
- Over 3,000 participants live and work in the Myrtle Beach area each summer.
- After working for a maximum of four months, participants have up to one month to travel around the United States.
