Tickets Now Available for 16th Annual Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast

February 8 charity event to serve Low Country favorites along Murrells Inlet marsh.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—Tickets are now available for the much-anticipated 16th annual Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast to take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from Noon to 4 p.m. at the Hot Fish Club at 4911 Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Hosted by Grand Strand Young Professionals (GSYP) and sponsored by Grand Strand Health, the roast is a charitable fundraiser for Substitutes for Santa, which provides 150 Horry County students with holiday gifts and festive entertainment in December.

Participants will enjoy freshly steamed oysters, chicken bog, refreshments and live entertainment from The Paul Grimshaw Band.

“With delicious food, great music and a lively atmosphere, Shuckin’ on the Strand is a must-attend event for Grand Stranders and visitors alike. Attendees also love that all proceeds support local students during the holidays,” said Isabella Cenatiempo, GSYP liaison for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

A limited number of tickets are currently on sale for $40, which includes admission, all-you-can-eat oysters, one plate of chicken bog and fixings, and two beers. Additional ticket options are available.
