Myrtle Beach Tourism Highlights for February 2022

Coverage was dominated by a number of stories on spring break travel, continued flight news regarding expansions from Avelo airlines and Spirit, and a number of outdoor-related stories focused on hiking and state park trails. The Myrtle Beach team specifically secured the 15 pieces of earned coverage this month highlighting key story lines of culinary, history/culture, Canadian travel, flight news, beach trips and group travel. There were a number of features from Canadian publications on the return of CAN-AM days, a TODAY.com story on top vacation resorts and a Southern Living earned Meat and Threes story, to name a few. Coverage also included a number of accolades for the best places for retirees, as well as mentions of the destination in a Green Book Motorist tourism piece and another highlight of unique historical destinations in South Carolina.
