Myrtle Beach PR Tourism Highlights for December 2024

November national media coverage showcased Myrtle Beach as a top destination for holiday travel, family travel, and those looking for sensory-friendly destinations. Coverage also showcased Myrtle Beach as a destination with a rich history and culture; plentiful outdoor activities, sports, entertainment and music; near air routes; and great local cuisine. These coverage themes were highlighted by AFAR, which shared Visit Myrtle Beach’s efforts to make Myrtle Beach a top travel spot for neurodivergent people and its efforts to encourage local restaurants, hotels, and attractions to be certified autism-friendly through Champion Autism Network (CAN), and Disability Scoop sharing the news of the new TV show, Traveling the Spectrum

Key storylines were also highlighted in Islands, which shared a feature story on the destination being the home of The Shag, and Lonely Planet and The Travel, which showcased Myrtle Beach’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities respectively as well as several stories covering the Myrtle Beach Bowl.
