Myrtle Beach Area Chamber Welcomes Four Summer Interns
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.— The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is excited to announce the addition of four talented interns to its team for summer 2024.
Kaylee Alston, Bryce Graham, Raevyn Ramsey and Faith Schmeizl have joined the organization for a four-month internship program focused on equipping them with hands-on professional skills related to chamber and CVB operations such as marketing and communications, event planning and more.
Alston is a senior at Coastal Carolina University seeking a degree in marketing. She is an intern in the CVB’s marketing department, assisting with various tourism marketing campaigns.
Graham is a sophomore at the University of South Carolina pursuing a double major in management and marketing. He is working alongside Alston in the marketing department helping to promote tourism.
Ramsey is a returning intern, assisting the group sales department for the second summer. She graduated from Clemson University in May with a bachelor of science in environmental and natural resources with a concentration in economic policy.
Schmeizl is working as a content creator in the chamber’s business development department where she is writing blogs, taking photos and videos, and assisting with website updates. She’s a senior at Bryant University in Rhode Island pursuing a degree in digital marketing.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kaylee, Bryce, Raevyn, and Faith to our team this summer,” said Matt Metzger, vice president of human resources and operations. “Each brings their own unique skills and perspectives that will help us achieve our goals and better serve our community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make during their time with us.”
